Dinner Time on the Farm

It's all about eating seasonally and loving every minute!  Below I'm visually posting the dinner menu for dinner last night.  The only "foreign" food was the Ranch Dressing, which I'm too lazy to make from scratch!

Cottage Cheese from Marigold

Here's that Okra again...!

Lovely, delicious tomatoes of every stripe!

 Cucumbers by the million....(almost!)

Snap peas

Add a couple of ears of corn, and a head of broccoli with that Ranch Dressing dip....top it off with freshly picked peaches....and it's a meal and then some.

  1. That is my kind of food! Summer is the time for delicious fresh garden and orchard produce. How fortunate that you can step out your door and gather it all. I guess Farmers Market are next of kin to your own harvwet -- Barbara

  2. That's not a meal, it's a feast. I often have a mixed salad with tomatoes, red peppers, cucumber and onion with some cottage cheese drizzled with a little dressing but I'm sure yours is so much tastier.
